A recorder you can wear, a camera that follows a conversation, a small robot finding its way around a room. We love the moment intelligence takes a physical form, and we are curious about how each object fits into a day: what its design makes possible, and where its limits show.
We pick objects with a distinctive interaction, a thoughtful physical design, or a genuinely useful twist on a familiar tool. Established products and early experiments sit side by side, with their different stages made clear. Nothing is listed because a company asked, and nothing is left out because one did not.
Knowing where things stand
Every product carries a label, so you know where it stands before you click through. Available means the brand or an approved retailer accepts an ordinary order. Preorders, waitlists, and announcements are called what they are. Experimental means an object is still finding its form. Paused, discontinued, and service-ended products stay on record, so you can see the whole story.
Each product also shows the date its details were last checked. Prices and availability move, so the brand’s own page is always the final word.
The details that help you decide
We tell you what an object does, what it needs to work, and what the price leaves out: required plans, a phone connection, cloud processing, regional limits. Facts are read from official pages on a dated check and stated plainly.
Not a store
Mainspace does not sell anything. Every buy, preorder, pledge, or waitlist link leads to a clearly named brand or destination, and the purchase happens with them. We do not try to list everything, and nothing here is ranked by who pays.
Imagery
Product photography comes from each brand’s press materials and product pages, and is credited to them. We never publish generated approximations of real products. If you are a brand and would like an image replaced or removed, email us.
