Overview

Insta360 Link 2 is a 4K USB webcam on a two-axis gimbal that follows a speaker with AI tracking, tilts down for DeskView, and responds to hand gestures. Link Controller on Windows or macOS adds group tracking, a smart whiteboard, and GPU-dependent bokeh and background effects.

Pricing & plans

No account or subscription required. Advanced computer effects have operating-system and GPU requirements.

The $159.99 Graphite Black price is promotional; list price $199.99. Arctic White was $149.99. This is Link 2 with the gimbal, not Link 2C; Link 2 Pro is a newer model.

Setup & connectivity

USB-C connection to a Windows 10 or later (x86) or macOS computer; Link Controller for mode selection and advanced features; Virtual Camera (macOS 13 or later, or an NVIDIA GPU on Windows) for bokeh, blur, and the smart whiteboard. No account or subscription is needed.

Camera and tracking functions use the connected computer. Advanced effects depend on its operating system and GPU, not a cloud account.
