Overview

WHOOP MG is the medical-grade version of the screenless WHOOP 5.0 wearable, adding an ECG-conductive clasp for on-demand heart screener readings, irregular heart rhythm notifications, and daily blood pressure insights on top of WHOOP’s recovery, sleep, and strain scoring. It is supplied with the annual WHOOP Life membership and does nothing without the app and an active account.

An active WHOOP membership is required. Life at $359 a year includes the MG device; the device is not sold on its own.

WHOOP Life at $359 a year is the tier that includes the MG; One ($199) and Peak ($239) come with the WHOOP 5.0 instead. The membership starts when the device ships.

Setup & connectivity

WHOOP Life membership (annual), the WHOOP app and account, a compatible iOS or Android phone with Bluetooth, and WHOOP cloud analysis; the device has no screen and no standalone function.

Sensors collect data on the wrist; interpretation relies on the phone app, an active membership and WHOOP cloud analysis.
